This guide covers all the fields and options available when creating a campaign in Panxo Desk.
Required Information
Before creating a campaign, ensure you have the following information ready:
| Field | Description | Required |
|---|---|---|
| Campaign Name | Descriptive name for the campaign | Yes |
| Advertiser | The brand/company running the campaign | Yes |
| Start Date | When the campaign should begin | Yes |
| Daily Budget | Maximum spend per day (USD) | Yes |
| Creative Assets | Banner images meeting our specs | Yes |
Campaign Details
Campaign Name
Choose a descriptive name that helps identify the campaign purpose. Examples:
- "Kustomer US B2B Launch Q1 2025"
- "Adobe Creative Cloud - Enterprise Decision Makers"
- "HubSpot EMEA Customer Service"
Best Practice: Include the brand name, target audience or region, and time period.
Advertiser Selection
Select the advertiser (brand) this campaign is for. If the advertiser doesn't exist, you'll need to create them first with:
- Company name
- Website URL
- Contact email
Schedule
Start Date
The date when the campaign will begin serving impressions.
- Format: YYYY-MM-DD
- Minimum: Today's date
- Note: Campaigns go live at 00:00 UTC on the start date
End Date (Optional)
The date when the campaign will stop serving.
- Format: YYYY-MM-DD
- If not set: Campaign runs indefinitely until paused or budget exhausted
Budget Configuration
Daily Budget
The maximum amount (in USD) to spend per day.
| Recommended Daily Budget | Campaign Type |
|---|---|
| $50 - $100 | Testing/Pilot |
| $100 - $500 | Standard Campaign |
| $500 - $2,000 | Growth Campaign |
| $2,000+ | Enterprise/Scale |
Important: Daily budget is a cap, not a guarantee. Actual spend depends on available inventory matching your targeting criteria.
Total Budget (Optional)
The maximum total spend for the entire campaign duration.
- If set, the campaign will pause when this limit is reached
- If not set, campaign runs based on daily budget only
Example: A 30-day campaign with $100/day budget could set a $3,000 total budget as a safety cap.
Bid Configuration
Bid Type
Currently, Panxo supports CPM (Cost Per Mille) bidding only.
CPM = Cost per 1,000 impressions
Bid Amount
Your maximum CPM bid in USD.
Important: Each AI Audience Segment has a floor CPM. Your bid must meet or exceed the floor to win impressions for that segment.
| Scenario | Your Bid | Segment Floor | Result |
|---|---|---|---|
| Bid meets floor | $10.00 | $10.00 | Eligible to serve |
| Bid exceeds floor | $15.00 | $10.00 | Eligible, pays floor |
| Bid below floor | $8.00 | $10.00 | Not eligible |
Dynamic CPM (Multi-Segment)
When targeting multiple segments with different floors, the system uses dynamic CPM:
- Each impression pays the CPM floor of the segment that matched
- Your bid must exceed the highest floor among selected segments to be eligible for all
Example:
- Segment A: $5.00 floor
- Segment B: $12.00 floor
- Segment C: $18.00 floor
If you bid $18.00 and target all three, you'll pay:
- $5.00 for Segment A impressions
- $12.00 for Segment B impressions
- $18.00 for Segment C impressions
Campaign Status
| Status | Description |
|---|---|
| Draft | Campaign created but not submitted |
| Pending | Awaiting review/approval |
| Active | Currently serving impressions |
| Paused | Manually paused by advertiser |
| Completed | End date reached or budget exhausted |
